[Linux] Simple installation of Lagun and simulation Launcher at IFPEN

At IFPEN, Rocky 8 Linux installer for Lagun and its associated simulation launcher is available via the command (LAGUN_25-01-07-I is the name of LAGUN version):

/home/irsrvshare1/R11/OPTIMR11/LAGUN/LAGUN_25-01-07-I/LAGUN_Installer.csh

  • Except for special cases (e.g. a temporary patch of Lagun), do not change the default path for installation files and type return
  • Indicate the chosen folder for Lagun installation, default is $HOME. Type return if you choose the default location. The installer will create a folder names LAGUN
  • Indicate the chosen folder for local R installation, default is $HOME/R. Type return if you choose the default location. The installer will create a folder names R-4.4.1
  • Choose Lagun installation type :1=All, 2=Lagun core, 3=Simulations Launcher, 4=Simulations Launcher without R. The default is 1, i.e. installation of R, Lagun and the simulation launcher.
  • If the folder LAGUN exists, a confirmation to remove the folder is requested. If you do not want to remove the existing folder, the installation is stopped. Rename the existing LAGUN directory and re-run the installer.
  • If the folder R/R-4.4.1 exists, a confirmation to remove the folder is requested. If you want to use the existing installation of R, type no, or yesif you want to re-install R-4.4.1.

After the script’s completion, in LAGUN folder, the files Lagun.csh and Simulations_Launcher.csh are the runners of respectively Lagun and of the simulations launcher.
